History
The 4 girl punk Rococo was found in October 2002 in Wuhan.
Starting as a cover band they toured local universities and bars.
In May 2003 the band splits up as all graduate from university, but in March 2004 they reunite.
Rococo's very first performance was in April 3rd of 2004 in Wuhan. Within the next two years, Rococo brings hundreds of performances to audiences in Wuhan.
In December 2004, the band released its first 4 songs Demo in WUHAN. SuperRococo,Kingkong Barbie,Half away,Baby. The genre of this demo is pop punk, which has a very popular beat, and it is beloved by a number of audiences in Wuhan.
In June 2005, the band released its first 5 songs EP in Beijing. SuperRococoWe Just FreeHow To Find ItI Fear You Like You Fear MeGirls From Lady Night. The genre of Rococo has changed from pop punk to indie rock. The girls of Rococo was trying to make their music more powerful and more stands out. Also, Rococo held gigs with Reflector, New Pants, Tookoo, and other popular bands in China.
In July 2005, the band released its Music Video We Just Free.
In August 2005, the band had a its first nation-wide tour in Shanghai, Nanjing, Changsha, and Hongkong. Rococo also received postive comments from many other bands and professional musicians.
In Sepetember 2005, Rococo was interviewed by XMUSIC Magazine.
In January 2006, Rococo signed to I-Free Music & Entertainment Company Limited in Hongkong.
In May 2006, the band was interviewed by Rolling Stone Magazine.
In June 2006, Rococo will be recording its first album.
