Long anticipated, in May 2005 Cankered Corpse first real record was released at Mort Production, the record label they have signed already for the two compilation CDs Resurrection of the Gods I and China Runs Blood.
Featuring 13 new and re-recorded songs, another 6 songs from their first demo have been added on the CD as a bonus, as the original Mayhem demo (limited to 666 copies) is not available anymore.
Another fact to be mentioned is that the demo cover for this CD varied several times and upto release time, the cover on the right side was favored, before it was changed to the current one.
