History
Formed in 1996, HYPONIC is one of the few metal bands in the small scene of Hongkong. They never had a drummer, but the Leader Roy also plays drums during the recording sessions. They found a friend who would help them out on live shows, but the band doesn't make a big deal to find a steady drummer.
In May 2001 HYPONIC release their totally self produced debut album "Black Sun", on which they presented their catchy doomy old school death metal. They try to send some copies to different labels, but never got signed yet. Thereafter they did an gig in Taiwan and contributed their songs in different international compilations. Also Mort Prod.'s "Ressurection of the Gods II" provides the song "Metamorphosis" of their Single-release from 2002.
Later in 2005, they released another self produced Album called "The Noise of Time".
