History
Originally founded by Qu Bo and Li Hun, this band is actually not originated from Chengdu, but from a small river town in the Si Chuan Province.
In 1998, Li Hun goes to Chengdu and Qu Bo follows him in 1999. In September the same year, the band is officially formed.
At that time, their musical style was similar to the first songs of Black Panther (Hei Bao), but gradually it changes into Blues.
In 2000, Huang Jin joined the band on drums.
On Januray 28th, the band playes live on the Little Bar's third anniversary.
In the year 2001, the band renamed itself into Soundtoy.
