History
The band Brainfailure is on of China's finest in terms of punk music. Their vocalist Xiao Rong is one of China's oldest punkers.
Their first appearance was on the Wuliao Contingent compilation by Scream Records, with which a punk revolution was started in China.
With the release of their album "Turn on the Distortion" in 2002 by Japanese Label "Bad News Records", they toured excessively through Asia and the US (2003).
In the beginning of 2004, Brainfailure, together with Dropkick Murphys bassist Ken Casey, finished recording their second album called "American Dreamer", that was also released by Bad News Records. For their released they toured Japan with Dropkick Murphys in November.
In November 2004, one of Brainfailure songs was included in the international punk compilation Give em the Boot Vol. IV.
In October 2005, they performed during the Midi Music Festival 2005.
