History

This new / pop metal band from Chengdu was formed in November 2001. Before that time the band was known as XiuLuo.

2001-November-17th: Concert at the Little Bar in Chengdu.

2001-November-30th: Concert at the 8 1/2 Bar in Xi'an.

2001-December-1st: Concert at the 8 1/2 Bar in Xi'an.

2001-December-16th to 18th: Participation at a festival.

2002-January-2nd: Participation at a festival in Kunming.

2002-January-17th and 18th: Participation at the 5th anniversary festival of the Little Bar in Chengdu.

2002-June: The compilation record "Little Bar Live 1997-2002" was recorded, including a song of Ashura.

2002-August-2nd: Ashura plays during the "Little Bar Live 1997-2002" release party in the Little Bar Chengdu.

2002-October-17th: "Little Bar Live 1997-2002" on tour concert in the "Art Sense" Bar Chongqing.

2002-October-31st: "Little Bar Live 1997-2002" on tour concert in the CD Cafe Beijing.

2002-November-2nd: "Little Bar Live 1997-2002" on tour concert in the 8 1/2 Bar in Xi'an.

At the end of 2002, Ashura records their first album upon their own expense.

2003-March-8th: Concert at the Little Bar in Chengdu.

2003-March-15th and 16th: Concert in Chongqing.

2003-March-28th: Concert during the M-ZONE event at the SiChuan University.

2003-July-4th: Ashura joins the "Little Bar 5 Years" VCD release party.

2003-July-5th: Concert at the Little Bar in Chengdu.

2003-September-6th: Concert at the Little Bar in Chengdu.

2003-September-26th-29th: Ashura plays four concerts during the M-ZONE event.

2003-October-31st: Special Halloween concert of Ashura.

2003-December-24th: Special Christmas concert of Ashura.

2004-April-8th: Live concert at the SiChuan Music Institute for Popular Music.

2004-April-10th: Live concert at a bar.

In October 2005, they performed during the Midi Music Festival 2005.
